several NCI funded grants. His special interest areas include Breast and
Cervical Cancer and reaching medically underserved ethnic populations. |

Howard
Sussman, M.D.
Chief Science
Officer
Dr. Sussman is a Professor of Pathology at Stanford
University School of Medicine. His research has focused on mechanisms
of gene regulation which are related to the neoplastic process. Dr.
Sussman acts as a consultant on collection projects and assists with the
necessary training, quality control and evaluation at collection sites. |

Xuan
Van Le, M.D.
Director, Research
Pathology
Previously Chief of Pathology and Senior Oncology Surgeon at the Ho Chi Minh City
Cancer Center in Vietnam. Dr. Le served fellowships at Stanford and University of
Iowa. Before immigrating to the U.S., Dr. Le published several
Vietnamese language pathology textbooks and was instrumental
in
establishing cytology training and screening in Vietnam. |

Trey
Kohl
Laboratory Services
Coordinator
A native of Chestertown, Trey is a graduate of Johns
Hopkins University, where he worked in two research labs
investigating primate neurophysiology and labeling of MSC's in animal
models of disease. Trey now coordinates laboratory services and
production of
derivative products. |

and Outreach Services
A recent graduate of Washington College with a degree in
Environmental Studies and a minor in English, Jordan has
been working with ILSbio as an intern for four years.
After graduating in the Spring of 2010, Jordan became a
full time
laboratory technician. |

Client Services Coordinator/Site
Network Coordinator
Fluent in English, German, and Russian, Dmitri
communicates with researchers world-wide and manages collection projects
through our network of domestic and international collection sites. |

Genther

Office Manager
Emily joined the ILSbio team in 2008 after graduating
from Washington College with a BS in Biology. Her senior thesis,
which focused on genetic variations in the disease Lupus, as well as her
previous customer service skills allows Emily to excel in both the lab
and client services within our
company. |

Over the past
eight years, ILSbio has collaborated with local colleges
to offer students majoring in science and biotechnology
internships with our company. The intern
program was designed to enhance the students' academic
knowledge with real world biotechnology and biobanking
industry experience. This supplemental work
experience has better prepared our interns to
enter the work force after graduation. |
