The continued growth
of ILSbio's collaborative network over the past 14 years makes our
company one of the largest bio-banking resources in the world. This
extensive network
allows ILSbio to offer our clients many hard to
procure treatment naive tissue specimens in several formats,
including Snap Frozen and FFPE. Many specimens are
available in same donor matched sets including: primary tumor and
normal adjacent tissue. Also available are patient matched serum,
plasma, whole blood and metastasized lymph nodes. Our inventories
include all of these plus a wide variety of fresh tissue, postmortem
tissue (normal
and diseased) and custom tissue and organ collections.

ILSbio collects every
sample under IRB approved protocols, ensuring that strict ethical
guidelines are followed to protect patient confidentiality and safety.
Each sample has the patients consent for use in a wide range of research
including the development of commercial products or
services. The samples are identifiable only by barcodes to ensure an unbiased
assessment as well as patient confidentiality.
ILSbio also
utilizes strict internal collection protocols. We control the time
from surgical extraction to snap freezing. This ensures
that our tissue specimens are viable with high RIN for the most demanding
genomic and proteomic research criteria.
Each specimen comes with detailed clinical
information and pathological reports. The diagnosis is
confirmed by at least three
pathologists.
ILSbio can create custom
collection protocols to meet individual client research
goals and will tailor specific collection criteria to fit each
client request.
Assistance is available in obtaining preclinical trial
testing.
